Install#
Nothing to do — this package ships inside LeSysBot and is available as soon as the installer finishes.

lesysbot install lesysbot/lesysbot/tools/networkTools#
This package exposes 3 tools.
ping(host)#
shell commandtimeout 15s
Send three ICMP echo requests to a host and report the replies.
Runs
ping -c 3 {host}Parameters
| Parameter | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
hostrequired | str | — | Hostname or IP address to ping. |
dns_lookup(domain)#
shell command
Resolve a domain name and report the answering nameserver.
Runs
nslookup {domain}Parameters
| Parameter | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
domainrequired | str | — | Domain name to resolve. |
traceroute(host)#
shell commandtimeout 60s
Trace the network path to a host, up to 15 hops.
Runs
traceroute -m 15 {host}Parameters
| Parameter | Type | Default | Description |

Notes#
- Each tool is gated independently on its own binary, so a box without traceroute installed still gets working ping and dns_lookup — the gated one stays listed and explains itself.
